1. understand the human being as a whole and follow this principle and the ethical principles of the profession in his/her activity
2. understand that the aim of laboratory investigations is to support human health with quality and correct investigation results in order to improve life quality
3. understand the process of laboratory investigation as an integrated part of the health care system
4. be able to handle the technology of biomedical laboratory investigations, analysing and evaluating critically the process of investigation making his/her effort to obtain correct results of the laboratory investigation
5. be able to implement analysing and decision making skills in team work, taking responsibility for his/her own activity within the limits of his/her competence
6. be prepared for lifelong learning and development as well as for participation in the development of the profession
